litestarHow do I stay supportive for my husband?

© 2002 Scott "Q" Marcus, THINspirational Speaker

You have to lose weight for yourself; not for anyone else. However, if you wish to be supportive for your husband (good for you!), you can ask him what he needs. You can learn the program. You can encourage him when he feels down. You can show him how much you appreciate his efforts. Be a friend, not a food cop. If you had a friend who was trying to kick a drug habit, you wouldn't get hooked on drugs to help her, would you? You don't need to do the program to be supportive. Be caring. Be helpful. Ask - don't push. However, if you do want to lose weight, I cannot recommend anything higher than I do WW of course. It changed my life.
